Netflix debuted the trailer for Nemesis on April 13, 2026. Running for two minutes and 10 seconds, it offers a quick preview of what viewers can expect from the story.

The footage begins with masked robbers entering a store and robbing it before cutting to criminal mastermind Coltrane Wilder, who removes his mask while driving away. It then shows a detective, Isaiah Stiles, investigating a crime scene. These clips are accompanied by their voiceovers, emphasizing different worldviews. Wilder states, “Real men live by our own set of rules.” Meanwhile, Stiles counters, “Nah, real men know right from wrong.”

Subsequent scenes highlight Stiles’ personal desire and obsession to go after and take down Wilder and his crew, while the latter focuses on one more big job for his boss before retiring with his wife, Ebony. The former is adamant about stopping Wilder, despite his superior, police chief James Sealey, pointing out that the convict has reformed and established a thriving business.

Wilder makes his outlook on power dynamics clear to Stiles in one part of the trailer. The former tells the latter, “When two people meet, one yields to the other.” Stiles responds by warning him that he is “playing with fire.” Unfazed, Wilder likens himself to Prometheus by asserting, “I bring the fire.”

Moreover, Wilder tells someone that Isaiah is a “cutthroat” person like himself. He adds by stating the obvious, “He’s been obsessed with me since the moment we met.” Meanwhile, Isaiah complains to his wife, Candace, that Wilder is “taunting” him, while she expresses worry that she can’t get through to him. Elsewhere, Isaiah tells his crew that they will take everything back “in blood.”

Nemesis starts streaming on May 14, 2026. The cast features Y’lan Noel, Matthew Law, Cleopatra Coleman, Michael Potts, and Gabrielle Dennis.
