What is the House of David Prime Video TV show about?
In the third season of the show, David’s character undergoes a lot of change. He begins his journey as an outcast shepherd. He then becomes a fierce warrior before embracing his destiny as the chosen king. However, before he takes on the crown, he has to go through a period of exile. To survive, he must hide from his enemies, and this chapter would largely focus on the price David must pay to become the king.
Michael Iskander shared how portraying the character of David has changed his life in ways he never saw coming. The actor stated, “I’ve grown alongside this character, and getting to explore his complexity – his courage, his flaws, his ambition and the weight of the choices he makes—has been an extraordinary experience.” Iskander further added, “I’m incredibly grateful to have been entrusted with this role, and I can’t wait for audiences to see where we take David in this final chapter.”
Alongside Michael Iskander, the cast of House of David features Ali Suliman as King Saul and Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam. The list continues with Indy Lewis, Yali Topol Margalith, Ethan Kai, Sam Otto, Oded Fehr, Louis Ferreira, Davood Ghadami, Aury Alby, and Alexander Uloom.
