Duo International has announced that it will restock its Pokemon Fishing lures in November 2025. The company also revealed a brand-new lure featuring Pikachu with an Iron Tail that will join the lineup.
The new Iron Tail Pikachu lure will be available at 3,190 yen (~$21.50). It will be slightly more expensive than the regular Pikachu jitterbug lures that cost 2,970 yen (~$20). And while the regular lures are available in three different facial expressions, the Iron Tail Pikachu will only have a serious face.

For the record, Duo first launched the Pokemon Fishing lures in 2021. It initially made lures modeled after the franchise icon Pikachu and the Pokemon Sapphire legendary mascot Kyogre, the latter of which cost 5,390 yen (~$36.25). Two years later, in 2023, the company added a crank-type lure based on Koduck, which is better known in English releases as Psyduck, at 2,750 yen (~$18.50).
Duo International also added cautions on its official website that parts of the Pokemon in the lures may wear off when they are frequently used and hit other objects, such as Pikachu's ears, Psyduck's hair, or the red lines on Kyogre's wings.
The Pokemon Fishing lures will be available for sale again in Japan in November 2025.
