Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies Gets VR Version

Capcom announced that the next new Ace Attorney game will be a VR remake of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies  for the Meta Quest 2, 3, Pro, and glasses. It’s being handled by Amata K.K., which also worked on VR games like The Tale of Onogoro and Last Labyrinth. It will show up on the platform in 2027. 

This will be the first VR Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game. There aren’t a lot of details about how it will work yet, though a first trailer appeared and the official site shared a few screenshots. It seems like it could be a straightforward adaptation, with initial images seeming to show the “Turnabout Countdown” case that kicks off that installment. Amata K.K. also noted people will be able to shout “Objection” or use hand gestures to react in perform actions in cases.

We’ve seen Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies quite a few times now since its worldwide 3DS debut in 2013. Following mobile ports, Capcom brought it to consoles and PC alongside Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. 

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies will come to the Meta Quest 2, 3, Pro, and VR glasses in 2027. It is also available on the 3DS, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices worldwide.
