Paimon Unveils Third EATBRAIN EP, ‘Anamnesis’

Teddy Killerz founding member Paimon returns to EATBRAIN with five relentless cuts of hard-hitting neurofunk, pairing crushing sound design with uncompromising production.

Paimon has maintained an unrelenting pace over the past year, further strengthening his presence in the EATBRAIN catalog with a steady stream of releases, including three EPs since last July. Anamnesis arrives as part of the label’s year-long celebration of 15 years at the forefront of dark drum and bass.

Embodying EATBRAIN’s unmistakable sonic identity, the five-track EP pairs intricate drum programming with precision sound design and relentless neurofunk energy. Anamnesis expands Paimon’s signature blend of meticulously crafted darkness and sci-fi-inspired storytelling, all built upon the uncompromising production that has become his trademark.

Opening the EP is “Souls walk in,” which sets a foreboding tone with ominous atmospheres, driving rhythms, and immersive soundscapes, establishing the project’s dark direction. “My flow” follows with rolling basslines, crisp percussion, and tightly woven grooves, maintaining unrelenting forward momentum.

Paimon raises the intensity even further on “One Hit,” delivering a barrage of industrial textures and uncompromising neurofunk aggression. The aptly titled “Coming down” does anything but ease the pressure, reaching the EP’s high point with pulsating basslines, razor-sharp production, and peak-time dancefloor energy.

Closing the release is “Callin me,” which packs in one final assault, combining haunting vocal elements with a punishing low end that leaves the project on its most uncompromising note.
