The Honest Elections Project Action released poll results indicating that 86% of Ohio's voters think voter IDs should be required to cast a ballot at the polls. The breakdown by Party showed that 99% of Republicans, 90% of Independents and 69% of Democrats favor this requirement. The Ohio State Senate voted 22-9 to send a constitutional amendment ballot question to voters. If the state House also approves, this amendment will appear on the November ballot.
