New Look at '9-1-1: Nashville' Introduces Two Pivotal Characters for the Upcoming Spin-Off

9-1-1: Nashville promises country drama as Music City takes center stage. LeAnn Rimes plays Dixie Bennings, and her character is at the epicenter of the drama between Captain Don Hart (Chris O'Donnell) and his wife, Blythe Hart (Jessica Capshaw). "It will get heated; there's definitely drama between them," Rimes said in an interview with USA Today while previewing what her character brings to the table. Dixie has a complicated past in her career as an aspiring country music star. She also used to have a thing with Don when they were younger, but he never married her. Dixie is a single mother to her son, Blue (Hunter McVey), whom she loves to pieces. However, his close relationship with Don, as his captain, might be a cause of conflict in Dixie, and she wants to use that relationship to her own advantage. New images of the mother and son duo were unveiled, and you can see them below.
