Fantasy adaptations are all the rage on streaming nowadays, as Netflix and its competitors fight to get their hands on massive IP. Netflix, for instance, has adapted The Witcher, live-action versions of Avatar: The Last Airbender and One Piece, and recently paid an eye-watering sum for the movie rights to Callie Hart's Quicksilver, a romantic fantasy (or "romantasy") book series that has taken the publishing world by storm.
