Stranger Things spent five seasons turning the monsters of Hawkins into a global phenomenon, but Netflix has a darker alternative waiting in its catalog. Across 26 episodes, Sweet Home puts its survivors through a brutal ordeal that makes its supernatural threats feel much harder to escape. For viewers disappointed by the final season, its willingness to put major characters at risk offers a compelling reason to switch worlds. Right now, the future of Stranger Things is up in the air based on where Netflix decides to go with the property, not to mention the fact that series creators Ross & Matt Duffer have a new creative deal at Paramount. However, one supernatural Netflix series is proving to fill the gap left by Stranger Things's conclusion.
