Netflix may have launched its streaming platform with tons of original content, but as it's gotten bigger, it's started to produce more adaptations of popular books, TV shows, and manga. Shows like Bridgerton and The Lincoln Lawyer have been successful for the platform, as there's a ton of source material to adapt across multiple seasons. This has also proven successful with Virgin River, which was recently renewed for Season 8, making it Netflix's longest-running scripted series. But there's one franchise that Netflix has the potential to keep going even longer with the huge amount of source material to mine from.
