Masashi Kishimoto may not have envisioned his Naruto franchise to develop into the engrossing behemoth it is today, much less with a sequel vying for its fans' attention in quite the way it has. It's been nearly 27 impressive years since the original manga's debut, but this hasn't stopped its future from continuing to be charted out with Kishimoto's approval under Mikio Ikemoto.
