Monkeys Don’t Fear Hell Steam Demo Live

Cozy farming sim by day and demon-slaying gauntlet by night, dupregames has released a new Steam demo for Monkeys Don’t Fear Hell.

A cozy 2D farming sim with a comedically contrasting action roguelike underworld, Monkeys Don’t Fear Hell will have players spending their days planting crops, crafting, and building one’s own island town.

However, when night falls in Monkeys Don’t Fear Hell, players will grab their weapons and descend into Hell and take part in top-down bullet-hell combat.

See it for yourself with the demo trailer below:

Philip du Pré comments:

“I wanted to bring together two kinds of games I love: building somewhere you want to spend time, and fighting through somewhere you’re trying to survive.

Above ground, you’re farming, cooking and building your monkey town. Below ground, you’re facing demon hordes, bullet-hell combat and bosses.

They’re connected: cooking and crafting help prepare you for combat, while resources from hell support your settlement.”

Set to release in Q1 2027, be sure to wishlist Monkeys Don’t Fear Hell and check out the demo via its official Steam page.
