Taylor Sheridan has been busy this year expanding the Yellowstone universe with shows such as Marshals and Dutton Ranch. The latter has been met with a much softer reception than the former — Marshals currently has the lowest review scores of any Sheridan-produced Western show, ever. Paramount just confirmed earlier this week that production has commenced on Marshals Season 2, which sets the stage for the show to return to CBS before the end of this year. Fans of Taylor Sheridan shows were dealt a massive blow not long ago when it was revealed that the highly anticipated third season of Landman won’t begin production until August, meaning that it likely won’t return to streaming until sometime in 2027. While he’s built his TV empire on Western thrillers like Yellowstone, he also has a few hit crime thrillers that fans have grown attached to over the years.
