2026 has been a huge year for Marvel Studios on the small screen, with the gargantuan superhero studio releasing new seasons of both Daredevil: Born Again and X-Men ‘97. Marvel even introduced a new hero in Wonder Man, but despite an overwhelmingly positive reception from both critics and fans and even an initial renewal, Marvel still canceled the show after only one season. This news came only a few weeks after it had also been announced that Marvel’s Blade movie, which was set to star Mahershala Ali, had been canceled as well. One Marvel hero that did make his return earlier this year was Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter, in the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again.
