Alyssa Thomas is on a record-breaking roll.
With her first helper in the Phoenix Mercury‘s Thursday night match against the Chicago Sky, Thomas became the first WNBA player to tally three 300-assist seasons.
Thomas has reached the milestone in three consecutive years, after recording 316 assists in 2023 and 317 in 2024.
But this isn’t the only record the veteran forward has decimated this week. In her last game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Thomas broke her own record of six triple-doubles in a season that she had set in 2023. That same game, the 33-year-old also became the first player in WNBA history to post at least 10 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a game that she finished with 12 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists and three steals.
With her performance on Tuesday, the Mercury star also became the first player in WNBA history to total 31 or more assists in a two-game span.
Thomas is averaging 15.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.6 steals in her 11th season in the league.
