Mel Gibson’s 52% Rotten Tomatoes Franchise-Killer Is a Free Streaming Hit in America

It’s been a relatively quiet year for Mel Gibson as he prepares to begin shooting his long-awaited Passion of the Christ sequel, but ahead of his reunion with Jim Cavaziel, one of Gibson’s older action movies has become a streaming hit years later. Gibson stars alongside Danny Glover (2012), Joe Pesci (The Irishman), and Rene Russo (Nightcrawler) in Lethal Weapon 4, the fourth (and likely final) installment in his hit action franchise, following two LAPD officers who must contend with deadly Chinese triads. Lethal Weapon 4 is currently streaming for free on Tubi in America, where the film is currently the fourth-most-popular movie on the platform.
