Mark Bradley: Keegan’s father and golf mentor

Mark is a 27-year PGA Life Member, most recently the Director of Instruction at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club in Wyoming. Furthermore, he previously worked extensively throughout New England before settling in the western United States. Mark decided years earlier to pursue his Class A PGA professional status, establishing himself firmly within the golf industry.

Additionally, Mark’s approach to teaching his son went far beyond simple technical instruction and swing mechanics. “Keegan came to work with me every day at the golf course for years. He practiced and played, and played, and played some more,” Mark recalled fondly. He also focused heavily on character development through the game itself. “Count all your strokes and stay patient,” Mark taught young Keegan, instilling fundamental life lessons through golf.

“My dad gave me the opportunity to be able to play endless golf when it was not snowing in Vermont,” Bradley said gratefully. So, this unlimited access to golf courses became absolutely crucial for Keegan’s early development. Keegan has mentioned that his father, who is still his swing coach, remains instrumental in his game.

Kaye Bradley: Keegan’s mother and biggest supporter

Kaye worked as a women’s clothing sales representative and comes from a highly accomplished golf family. Similarly, golf excellence runs deep in her family lineage, with her sister Peggy earning six club championships. Additionally, their father captured the Maine Senior Amateur title twice during his competitive years. Therefore, Kaye understood the dedication required for competitive golf success from her own family experience.

A devoted New England sports fan, Keegan calls his mother his personal lucky charm. She also actively participated in his golf career whenever possible throughout his amateur and professional journey. Kaye caddied for her son during the Par 3 Contest at his first Masters appearance in 2012. Furthermore, she actually hit a tee shot on the ninth hole during the contest, creating a truly memorable mother-son moment at Augusta National.

Bradley’s aunt is a former LPGA player and World Golf Hall of Fame member, Pat Bradley. Moreover, his other aunt, Peggy, earned recognition as a 7-time Women’s Club Champion at York Golf and Tennis Club. “Our parents owned a ski shop when I was growing up,” remembers Mark about his childhood years. “My dad caddied as a kid and loved golf deeply. He said to my mother that he wanted to introduce his kids to ‘the game of integrity.'” Consequently, this philosophy became central to the entire Bradley family approach to golf and life.

As a child, Keegan attended some of Pat Bradley’s professional tournaments and has called her an inspiration.
