There’s a big change brewing in Green Bay. Matthew Golden, the wide receiver the Packers brought in to be a new target for Jordan Love, has just announced a change in his jersey number, again. After being drafted, the Packers had issued him the No. 81. Golden had then requested a change to the No. 22 as a way to honor his grandmother. And now, with just days to go before the season kicks off, it looks like another change is on the way.
Matthew Golden took to his X to share a single number. “0” Could this be a sign that he will now be the agent zero for the Packers? This move comes on the heels of the defensive disruptor Micah Parsons joining the Packers with a trade away from the Cowboys. Parsons himself has now changed the number on his back. While Parsons wore the No. 11 back in Dallas, he will now be wearing the No. 1 jersey in Packers green.
