**Matroda’s HARD TO EXPLAIN EP is a club-ready collection of some of the artist’s most intoxicating work.**

Matroda‘s mind is a factory for club weapons. Following the release of “I Need Your Lovin’” earlier this month, he’s unleashed his HARD TO EXPLAIN EP, which is out now via Insomniac Records.

HARD TO EXPLAIN is the quintessential club record. Short but sweet, it contains four tracks ready to rip through any dancefloor day or night. From start to finish, each song offers nuances and intrigue that will pull audiences in for more. It’s another masterclass from Matroda, adding to his ever-expanding arsenal of music and further solidifying him as a mainstay on Insomniac’s imprint.

The EP opens with his previously released tune “I Need Your Lovin’.” It’s an enthralling house anthem, built on funky rhythms and a hypnotic vocal sample that’s mixed just right to keep people dancing. For the second song, Matroda teamed up with Sudakov on “Nights With You.” Continuing the groovy feel established on the extended play, the pair have soaked the track in compelling ’80s nostalgia while keeping it contemporary.

Moving to the second half of HARD TO EXPLAIN, Matroda turns up the heat. “We Own This Floor” is the energy the Croatian producer is known for. Opening the track with a vocal sample directing the dancefloor to “turn it up loud” and “move your body now,” the song instantly enters a flow commanded by punchy percussion and swinging low ends. It’s a prime example of Matroda’s appeal and exactly why fans come back for more.

Ending on a high note, Matroda closes out the EP with “THINGS YOU SAY.” While it may be the shortest record in this collection, it’s no slouch. The vocal sample serves as the most intoxicating of the bunch, levitating over an infectious bassline built to shake up the crowd. It perfectly captures the essence found throughout HARD TO EXPLAIN, capping it off cleanly.
