No superhero game rivaled the Batman: Arkham franchise before Marvel’s Spider-Man, and only a few superhero games, such as Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Batman: Arkham Shadow, have rivaled Insomniac’s budding Marvel franchise since. Indeed, Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise is widely celebrated, and it’s neat to see that, while it has drawn inspiration from many unique Spider-Man wells, other iterations of the wall-crawler have begun looking to Insomniac for inspiration, too.
