Marvel isn't exactly known for horror, but the House of Ideas hasn't been afraid to dip its toes into the realm of the macabre from time to time. On-screen, the standalone special Werewolf By Night showed the potential of adapting some of its spookier stories, with a black-and-white tale that felt at home with classic Hammer Horror films and brought to life not just the titular character, but other ghoulish figures from the brand's history like Man-Thing. The Marvel Zombies stories have also given the superheroes a grotesque, violent, apocalyptic spin, imagining the terror of all-powerful beings turned into flesh-eating monsters. Yet, this Halloween, they're diving fully into the darker side, and fans evidently can't wait for the stroke of Midnight.
