2026 has been a magical year for Marvel fans both on the big and small screen, even if TV releases vastly outnumber theatrical releases. Marvel’s only big-screen movie of the year just dropped this past weekend with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but it earned enough at the box office during its opening weekend to cover the budget for a few movies. Spider-Man 4 even surpassed Avengers: Endgame to reach the biggest domestic box office opening in history. As for TV shows, Marvel unleashed new seasons of Wonder Man, Daredevil: Born Again, and X-Men ‘97 onto Disney Plus. While it was thought that all three shows were coming back for new seasons, it’s now been confirmed that only the latter two will continue — Wonder Man has been officially canceled despite originally being renewed for Season 2.
