X-Men fans have a lot to be excited about right now, even beyond the reboot movie in the works at Marvel Studios coming to theaters in 2028. Marvel has already announced part of the X-Men cast, too, including Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Inde Navarette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm, and even Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. One mutant who was glaringly absent from the initial casting lineup is Wolverine, who has been played by Hugh Jackman for more than 25 years now both in the Fox X-Men movies and the MCU. It’s unclear at this time if Marvel plans to omit Wolverine from its next X-Men lineup or recast the character with a younger actor.
