Man ‘rapes sleeping woman and runs off with her pajama pants’

A man allegedly sexually abused a sleeping elderly woman in her home – then ran off with her pajamas.

Servin Maradiaga, 43, entered the 71-year-old’s home in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn through the kitchen window around 2.15am on Thursday, according to the New York Police Department.

Maradiaga is accused of chocking the woman, touching her private area and fleeing with her pajama pants, from her residence at Berriman Street and Liberty Avenue, police said.

Officers busted the pervert around 9am the same day at the the ibis Styles New York LaGuardia Airport hotel, which was listed as his address.

Once officers detained Maradiaga, they found him accused of molesting another woman. He allegedly groped the buttocks of a 41-year-old acquaintance inside a social club in Cypress Hills in November of last year. Maradiaga was charged with sexual abuse and forcible touching in the incident at the club on Arlington Avenue by Highland Place.

In the latest case, Maradiaga has been charged with rape, aggravated sexual abuse, criminal obstruction of breathing and burglary.

He was set to be arraigned for both crimes on Friday afternoon.

Maradiaga appears to have a history of sexual offenses. He was arrested for forcible touching in Manhattan in 2013.

He was last arrested in July for lying on the subway in Brooklyn, police said.

The weird incident happened more than two-and-a-half years after a homeless man allegedly grabbed a woman from behind who was on a morning jog in New York City, choked her until she fainted, took off her clothing and raped her.

The man is accused of also making off on a Citi Bike from the scene near Pier 45 with the victim’s wallet, phone and headphones. He was arrested by police officers after using stolen credit cards to buy $39 in Red Bull energy drinks at a Target store in Midtown Manhattan.
