Malayalam Film Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra OUTSHINES Param Sundari, The Conjuring: Last Rites, and Baaghi 4 at box office

Dominic Arun's directed Malayalam superhero fantasy film Lokah Chapter 1 continued to smash box office records on the 10th day of the movie's release. The film stars Kalyani Priya Darshan in a key role, and despite releasing at the same time as Baaghi 4 and The Conjuring, which created a rivalry, it continued to break records. Surprisingly, the film's collection is moving forward positively.

Lokah Chapter 1's Box Office Collection?

The film has, by now, approximately collected a total of 72 crores; the numbers are obviously not stagnant and can change, but this just shows the massive buzz the film managed to garner among the audience, even after films from both Bollywood and Hollywood were in theatres at the same time.

According to the production house, the film was made on a mere budget of 30 crores, and at the same time, if we're talking about its collection, internationally, it left behind this year's highest internationally grossing film, Su, behind. The film that was made on a 30 crore budget has managed to collect a total of 121 crores worldwide as of now. If we add all the numbers and today's too, the numbers are easily reaching above 150 crores.

The film, technically by now has managed to collect five times the budget it had, and the audience loving it proves that quality matters so much more irrespective of quantity, because at the same time Lokah Chapter 1 is in the theatres, we have films like Param Sundari, The Conjuring: Last Rites, Baaghi 4, and Dil Madrassi.
