Madeon looks to keep his Victory era going with a 31-stop fall tour throughout North America.
Last week, Madeon broke the news to his fan base that his next album,Victory, is due out on June 26. And he didn’t waste any time before announcing the support tour, which will take him across the US and Canada from September 24 – November 21.
Victory Live kicks off at the Roseland Theater in Portland before Madeon (real name Hugo Leclercq) performs at WAMU Theater in Seattle, Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, and Knitting Factory locations in both Spokane and Boise through the end of September. A plurality of stops on the tour fall in October, taking him to venues like Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Mission Ballroom in Denver, Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, and South Side Ballroom in Dallas.
Some of the biggest dates on Leclercq’s tour are scheduled for November. These include Echostage in Washington, DC, The Great Hall in Brooklyn, HISTORY in Toronto, and The Majestic Theatre in Detroit. Victory Live concludes with a show at Radius in Chicago.
Leclercq first rose to fame after he uploaded a 31-song mashup to YouTube in July 2011. He released his debut album, Adventure, in February 2015, following it up with another titled Good Faith in 2019.
Last week, when Leclercq announced Victory, he shared the first single from the effort, a Slayyyter collaboration titled “Fire Away.” Meanwhile, a mysterious billboard in Los Angeles has pointed fans to a website depicting a band called Victory with Leclercq as a member.
Pre-order Victory across platforms, and sign up for presale before tickets to Madeon’s Victory Live tour go on sale May 15.
