Mack explodes as he discovers what Emmerdale’s Sarah has done

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has been becoming increasingly volatile as things have intensified with Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) situation in Emmerdale, and who could blame him?

He’s learned a lot of truths in the last few weeks about how Charity cheated on him and made a baby with Ross (Mike Parr), which they gave to Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) to raise as her own daughter. And how Dr Todd blackmailed Charity over this, then sexually assaulted her.

Then Sarah accidentally killed Todd, but Charity took the blame and is now facing a long stretch inside after Sarah changed her story and made things worse.

It’s been a lot, so it’s no wonder that Mack is at the end of his tether and behaving somewhat erratically, having already exploded in the pub and revealed to the village the truth about baby Leyla’s parentage.

He’s beyond frustrated with Sarah, who he blames for Charity being inside. Charity is in hell and Mack can see her cracking under the pressure. She has already been forced to endure a body search in prison after drugs were planted in her cell.

The incident triggered an episode of PTSD and left her in a terrible state. And now Mack is more desperate than ever to get her home, especially as she’s threatening to plead guilty if anything happens to Sarah.

Mack just wants his wife back and for this whole sorry mess to go away, but it’ll only get worse.

The latest bad news to darken Mack’s door is when he learns that Moses asks Sarah if Leyla is his sister, and instead of denying it, Sarah decides not to lie.

Mack learns of Sarah’s selfish move and loses it. He’s had enough of Sarah being the centre of everything.

Even Cain failed in his duties to save Charity because he chose to protect Sarah instead.

For Mack, it’s time to take his family back. What will he do?
