For a while now, one of the biggest questions hanging over The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum has been whether Viggo Mortensen might return as Aragorn. It made sense that fans would go there. The character is such a huge part of Peter Jackson’s original trilogy, and this new film sits close enough to that era for people to start connecting dots.
