Lioness Season 3 Teaser Trailer Puts Zoe Saldaña Back on the Front Lines in Taylor Sheridan TV Show

Zoe Saldaña is back in action with the Lioness Season 3, and the teaser trailer shows a dangerous new mission. The popular Paramount+ TV show also features Dave Annable and Academy Award-winner Nicole Kidman, among others.

The official synopsis for Lioness Season 3 reads, “Hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide. Joe (Saldaña) walks the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world. Patterns appear where they shouldn’t, names vanish, and paths rearrange. Guided by Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield (Kelly), Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows, leaving her to reckon with a war that now reaches into every part of her life.”

Zoe Saldaña reprises her role as CIA officer Joe McNamara in the Lioness Season 3 teaser trailer. This time, she will have an uphill task of handling her duty and her personal life. The next chapter will see her confronting hidden enemies.

Annable plays Joe’s husband, Neal, who tells her, “I’m scared for you,” while adding, “I’m scared that we became this world.” To his concerns, Joe replies, “The world didn’t become this way — it’s always been this way.”

Lioness TV show comes from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and Paramount Television Studios. The first season of the series premiered in 2023 on Paramount+. It has managed to attract mostly positive reactions from critics and fans. The show currently holds a solid Tomatometer score of 72% and a Popcornmeter score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Lioness’ star-studded cast also includes Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and Emmy nominee Michael Kelly. Additional cast members are Laysla De Oliveira, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Genesis Rodriguez, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, Hannah Love Lanier, and Ian Bohen.
