Lewis has an announcement in Emmerdale but things may end badly

When Emmerdale’s Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) shared the news that he doesn’t know how to ride a bike, his dad Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) jumped up and announced that he’d teach him.

The problem? Kev failed to tell Lewis that he doesn’t actually know how to ride a bike either.

His excitement over spending some quality time with his son got in the way, which meant Kev had to give the impression that he knew what he was doing on two wheels when Lewis asked for a demo.

Unsurprisingly, the wobbly ride across the green resulted in Kev falling over the handlebars and landing onto the floor.

The silver lining came in the form of Lewis lying beside Kev on the grass. As they chatted, Kev asked Lewis what his secret fantasy is.

No, he wasn’t talking about that, what Kev meant to ask Lewis was what his big dreams are.

Lewis shared that he wants to get married on a beach in Bali to Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). He wasn’t entirely optimistic that it was going to happen though, due to the fact he hasn’t even been dating Vinny for a year yet.

But Lewis’ biological father is Kev Townsend, the man with emotions so intense, he doesn’t tend to do anything by halves.

He told his son that he’s going to set up a wedding fund so when Lewis and Vinny are ready to discuss getting married, the big Bali dream can become a reality.

But will it?

With reports suggesting that Bradley Johnson is leaving his role as Vinny Dingle, is heartbreak waiting for him and Lewis?
