Lethal Weapon 2: How This Sequel Surpassed The Original Action Classic

It’s extremely rare that a sequel manages to top the original, but Lethal Weapon 2 is a prime example of a superior sequel. Sequels, by their very nature, tend to promote diminishing returns. If a movie works and people like it, then the studio will demand that the filmmakers do it all over again in an attempt to catch the same lightning in the same bottle.
