Leonardo DiCaprio’s Next Acting Goal Will Make Fans Excited

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another later this month, and with one dream accomplished, he’s now set his eyes on a new acting goal.

What did Leonardo DiCaprio say his next acting goal is?

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, DiCaprio was asked what he has planned next after getting to work with Anderson. Perhaps unsurprisingly, DiCaprio said he’d love to get back to work with another legend he’s often collaborated with.

“To me, you know, always working with [Martin Scorsese] is the ultimate gift. He is our national treasure and the world’s greatest director, so if I get another opportunity to do that again, then that would be a dream come true.”

Of course, DiCaprio and Scorsese are no strangers to collaborating. To date, the pair have worked together on six different movies, including Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, and more. Their most recent collaborative effort was 2023’s Killers of the Flower Moon.

Thankfully for the acting legend, he likely won’t have to ask Scorsese to work together again. The pair are already said to be working on a new movie, along with Dwayne Johnson, on a mysterious Hawaii-set crime film. The movie is said to focus on a “ruthless Hawaiian crime boss” who is based on a real-life figure.

“In 1960s and 70s Hawaii, this formidable and charismatic mob boss rises to build the islands’ most powerful criminal empire, waging a brutal war against mainland corporations and rival syndicates while fighting to preserve his ancestral land,” reads more of the description. “It’s based on the untold true story of a man who fought to preserve his homeland through a ruthless quest for absolute power — igniting the last great American mob saga, where the war for cultural survival takes place in the unlikeliest of places: paradise.”
