Lee Child Will Officially Replace Reacher In 2027

With Jack Reacherbecoming one of the most recognizable characters in the modern thriller genre, the success of his franchise has become a unique challenge for author Lee Child, who will be effectively replacing the character in 2027. After more than three decades, over 30 novels, and a successful Prime Video adaptation, Child announced that he's stepping away from the Reacher series, with his brother Andrew Child taking over as the main writer of the thriller novels. While Child is still involved in the book series to an extent, his next project is likely to pull him away from Reacher even more.
