Brody Jenner has chimed in on the conversation around Timothée Chalamet’s past, backing his relationship with Kylie Jenner after a former adult entertainer came forward with claims about a supposed romance cut short.
The reality star, 42, didn’t hold back when he saw the story doing the rounds online, replying directly under a Page Six post with a pretty blunt take.
‘Oh god just leave the happy couple alone. People have lives before they meet their person. This girl is clearly doing this for attention, and everyone can see right through it,’ he wrote.
His comment comes after Sarah Tena claimed she had an on-and-off, nonexclusive relationship with Chalamet that lasted several years, and said she was caught off guard when he started dating Jenner.
Tena, 32, told the Daily Mail that it all started back in early 2020 when she messaged the actor on Instagram after watching him in The King.
According to her, things slowly picked up from there, with the pair eventually swapping numbers and meeting up in Los Angeles.
She said they hit it off straight away during their first meeting at a beachfront home in Santa Monica, bonding over films and music, and claimed they continued seeing each other every so often over the next couple of years.
She even claimed Chalamet played Bob Dylan songs for her on the guitar before she ‘spent the night.’
While she described the relationship as nonexclusive, she also said there were feelings involved, and that she opened up about those in June 2022, believing there was something more between them.
Not long after that, Chalamet was spotted interacting with Jenner during Paris Fashion Week, and by April 2023, rumours about the pair had picked up pace.
Since then, they’ve gone on to appear together at major events, from the US Open to awards season red carpets.
Tena said she initially thought the reports were fake or maybe even staged, but later came to believe the relationship was real.
She admitted she felt confused and hurt by how quickly things seemed to change, calling it disrespectful and saying she missed him.
Chalamet himself hasn’t commented on any of the claims.
