Kylie Jenner Cast as Murdered Bride in Hulu Series Bachelorette Weekend

Kylie Jenner is set to lead the cast of a new mystery-thriller series at Hulu titled Bachelorette Weekend. The project marks a significant move into scripted television for the reality star and entrepreneur, who will portray a bride-to-be whose celebration takes a dark turn when she is found murdered in a swimming pool.

The series is based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins. While Jenner’s character meets her demise early in the story, her role is described as the “North Star” of the series. This narrative structure indicates that the mystery will be pieced together through flashbacks or a non-linear investigation, keeping Jenner at the center of the plot as the show reconstructs the events leading up to her character’s death.

Production and Creative Team

The development of Bachelorette Weekend is being facilitated through Kim Kardashian’s first-look deal with 20th Television. Kardashian will serve as an executive producer on the project, continuing her own expansion into scripted media following her roles in American Horror Story and the legal drama All’s Fair.

The creative team also includes author and screenwriter Lauren Oliver and executive producer Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment. The project is reportedly nearing a straight-to-series order at Hulu, which has long served as the streaming home for the family’s reality programming.

According to reported details, Jenner will play the bride-to-be whose bachelorette trip serves as the backdrop for the thriller. Further casting details and a production start date have not yet been finalized.

Strategic Media Expansion

The announcement of Jenner’s new role arrives as the family prepares for the premiere of The Kardashians Season 8, which is scheduled to debut on October 8, 2026. This move into a scripted lead role follows Jenner’s previous appearances in other creative formats, including a voice role in a 2023 episode of The Simpsons and her involvement in the A24 mockumentary The Moment, which is slated for release in early 2026.

The timing of the project aligns with a broader push by the Kardashian-Jenner family into scripted content. Beyond this new thriller, Kim Kardashian’s legal drama All’s Fair is scheduled to return for its second season in November 2026. By taking on a scripted thriller, Jenner follows a professional path similar to her sister’s, leveraging the family’s existing relationship with Disney-owned platforms to pivot from reality television into dramatic acting.
