According to FlixPatrol’s data for June 10, 2026, The Secret Life of Pets 2 is #4 on Hulu’s Top 10 Movies in the United States. The animated sequel is also the platform’s #10 title overall.

Meanwhile, Sam Raimi’s Send Help is leading the Top 10 Movies list. Other titles on the list include Will Ferrell’s Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby at #2, Tatiana Maslany’s Keeper at #3, and Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail at #5.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a sequel to the 2016 hit from Universal Pictures and Illumination. Oscar-nominee Chris Renaud directed it alongside Jonathan del Val, who made his directorial debut. Brian Lynch wrote the script.

The story follows the dogs Max and Duke as their owner, Katie, starts a family. Max becomes deeply attached to Katie’s toddler Liam, which leads to him developing anxiety. The family then goes on a farm trip, where Max meets the fearless sheepdog named Rooster, who teaches him to face his fears. Meanwhile, before leaving for the farm, Max had entrusted his favorite toy to Gidget, a Pomeranian. But she loses it in a house full of cats and has to recover it.

The Secret Life of Pets 2’s voice cast includes Patton Oswalt, Kevin Hart, Harrison Ford, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, Eric Stonestreet, and Lake Bell.

Released on June 7, 2019, the film earned positive scores across the board. It maintains a 60% rating from 162 reviews, while over 10K users gave it 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Thanks to the favorable ratings from the general moviegoers, the film grossed $431.1 million globally against an $80 million budget. While this is an impressive box office achievement, it is half of what the original film earned. Made on a $75 million budget, The Secret Life of Pets earned $875.6 million worldwide.
