Jonathan Majors Returns After Marvel Firing in Controversial Movie Trailer

The first trailer for Jonathan Majors’ upcoming action film by The Daily Wire has been released. The upcoming movie will be his first role in a film since 2023’s Creed III. Disney removed Majors from the role of Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after being found guilty on one count of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment.

What is the controversial Jonathan Majors movie about?

Majors will star in Run Hide Fight: Infidels, an anthology sequel to 2020’s Run Hide Fight, also produced by The Daily Wire, the conservative media company co-founded by Ben Shapiro.

The logline for Run Hide Fight: Infidels reads, “When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate, a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears, and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil.”

The original Run Hide Fight was directed by Kyle Rankin and starred Isabel May, Radha Mitchell, and more. Majors becomes the second Hollywood actor to join forces with The Daily Wire in making their acting comeback, following Gina Carano. The first film received negative reviews and currently has a 30% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with 20 reviews. However, the film has scored an impressive 93% on the audience-rated Popcornmeter.

Besides its controversial premise, Run Hide Fight: Infidels also made headlines earlier this year when Majors fell through a window during its production (via Deadline). That’s not the only problem faced by the production, as IATSE called a strike against it, citing labor issues.
