After years in the trenches, Jon Bernthal finally seems to have established himself as a marquee name, both on streaming and in theaters. The actor began 2026 by starring in the thriller series His & Hers, which also featured Tessa Thompson. It emerged as one of Netflix's most-watched original shows of all time with more than 100 million views, before being overtaken by the more recent I Will Find You. Bernthal then appeared alongside Tom Holland and Zendayain the back-to-back theatrical blockbusters The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which have grossed approximately $3 billion in combined box-office revenue. The success of these films has propelled a couple of older projects featuring Bernthal to success on home video.
