Every list of the most successful box-office stars this year will probably include Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway, not to mention Robert Pattinson. However, another actor has experienced success in both the theatrical and streaming spheres. In fact, he also made his Broadway debut this year. We're talking about Jon Bernthal, who played pivotal supporting parts in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, and began the year with the blockbuster Netflix limited series His & Hersand the Disney+ spin-offThe Punisher: One Last Kill. The eight-part mystery was briefly among Netflix's all-time most-watched shows before being overtaken by I Will Find You. Bernthal is also enjoying the continued success of his 2025 release The Accountant 2, as well as another fan-favorite war movie that was originally released more than a decade ago.
