John Cena's Critically Acclaimed 'Peacemaker' Season 2 Is Topping the Global Streaming Charts

After a three-and-a-half-year wait, Peacemaker, James Gunn's spin-off series to The Suicide Squad, finally made its return on August 21, 2025. Similar to the likes of Wednesday and Squid Game, Peacemaker's long hiatus has done little to harm its streaming appeal, with the show proving incredibly popular since its return. At the time of writing, Peacemaker is the most-streamed title on HBO Max in the world, destroying its competition at a time when most of HBO's eggs are in its proverbial basket.
