CBS Sheriff Countryis taking things in a darker direction as it heads into its second season, which could start a whole new era for the series. Throughout Sheriff Country season 1, viewers got the chance to learn more about Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) as she navigated her way through the difficulties of being Edgewater's sheriff. While the inaugural season of the series more than established Edgewater's police force and the interpersonal issues that each character faces, Sheriff Country season 2 started off with a case that laid the groundwork for something even darker in Fire Country's companion series.
