Viewers are curious to know whether Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 1 features a post-credit scene. Created by Dario Scardapane, the superhero series’ initial season focused on Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk as they crossed paths yet again. In the latest season, Murdock gathers allies to bring down Fisk, who was elected as the mayor of New York. With the release of the new installment’s first episode, many want to know if an additional scene was included to hint at what happens next.

Does Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 1 have a post-credits scene?

No, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 1 doesn’t have a post-credits scene.

Season 2 Episode 1, titled “The Northern Star,” features the return of Matt Murdock, who is trying to keep a low profile and is hiding. A dark character from Washington, D.C., reappears. Usually, the inclusion of post-credits is for two purposes: either to solve plot queries or to tease what happens next. Franchises like Marvel typically add a bonus scene to hint at the upcoming storyline or a return of the character, while building hype and anticipation.

In an interview, creator Scardapane revealed that the current season will put a close to the politically-charged story around Fisk. As they move ahead with the next season, they’ll try to bring more of the Frank Miller comics era to life.

He said, “So as we finish up the Mayor Fisk run with season 2, as that storyline comes to its inevitable conclusion, what we’re doing going forward feels more like a return to the [Frank] Miller-era comics. So yeah, it was fun to play in the realm of politics, but I like something a little more street level, personally” (via Murphy’s Multiverse).

Season 2 features 8 episodes and can be streamed on Disney+.
