Novel adaptations and movie adaptations have regularly proved popular on Netflix. By that metric, a new series based on both a movie and a novel is sure to prove a hit. Based on the same novel that inspired the hit 2004 movie starring Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning, the brand-new, must-watch crime thriller Man on Fire made its Netflix debut recently to plenty of fanfare, including fairly positive responses from both critics and audiences.
