The MCU has not revealed the name or parentage of Jessica’s daughter. In Marvel Comics, Jessica Jones has a daughter named Danielle, fathered by her longtime partner Luke Cage. Whether the MCU follows the same path remains unclear.

Jessica’s romantic history in her solo Netflix series included several notable partners. These were Luke Cage, building superintendent Oscar Arocho, and empathic blackmailer Erik Gelden. Her relationship with Cage stood out as the most significant, eventually leading to marriage and parenthood in the source material.

In the comics, the pair raised Danielle together after marrying. Set photos for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 have since confirmed Mike Colter will reprise his role as Luke Cage. Given his history with Jessica on screen, Cage remains the most prominent candidate for the role of her daughter’s father in the MCU.

The midseason trailer also features Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye in a bloody diner fight sequence. Separate footage reveals Jon Bernthal’s new look as Frank Castle in The Punisher: One Last Kill, streaming May 12 on Disney+. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have confirmed that Bernthal does not appear in Season 2. Jessica Jones marks her first live-action MCU appearance in nearly seven years.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
