Ahead of its return, HBO‘s popular Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, has officially received a new app feature on HBO Max. The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel.
What new HBO Max feature has House of the Dragon Season 2 received?
Starting today, all eight episodes of HBO’s House of the Dragon Season 2 are now finally available to stream in American Sign Language (ASL) on HBO Max. The original episodes first aired from June to August 2024. The Season 2 ASL version is performed by ASL dubber Sophia Morales (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with ASL), with Justin Jackerson (Wuthering Heights with ASL) serving as its ASL director. This comes ahead of the hit fantasy show’s Season 3 premiere on June 21.
The Game of Thrones prequel chronicles the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens. The spin-off is created by Martin and showrunner Ryan Condal, who are executive producing alongside Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett.
House of the Dragon Season 3 features returning cast members Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra, Matt Smith as Daemon, Olivia Cooke as Alicent, Rhys Ifans as Otto, Steve Toussaint as Corlys, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Fabien Frankel as Criston Cole, Harry Collett as Jace, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, Bethany Antonia as Baela, Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena, Phia Saban as Helaena, Tom Bennett as Ulf White, and Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne. They will be joined by new cast members Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) as Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler (The Walking Dead) as Ser Torrhen Manderly, and James Norton (Little Women) as Ormund Hightower.
