All for One Highlighted Vtubers Growth

We’ve been covering the Vtubers for a while here at Siliconera, both because of their growth in the gaming industry and the fact that… well, the response shows people are interested in it. This means I’ve gotten to follow the development of English branches of companies. Cover’s hololive and holostars always seemed to be among the most stable, both in terms of appeal and growth. That’s never been more clear than with hololive English 3rd Concert: All for One, which took place at the end of August 2025 in New York and involved Vtubers from multiple generations. While the first two concerts basically established these streamers are genuinely talented performers and were getting chances to really show how capable they are, this third performance showed this division is now so big that it needs two days and can become a showcase to highlight other talents too.

So to start, the hololive English 3rd Concert: All for One ended up being a two-day event that originally spanned August 23-24, 2025. The original song for this performance with every active English generation member is “All for One,” which was used to start the show on the first day and close things as the final encore on the second. 20 performances happened on each day, and the only “repeats” are that new song for this event and “Odyssey.” It also ended up being quite balanced, with members of Myth, Promise, Advent, and Justice all performing on both days, so it didn’t end up being a divided affair where you needed to pick one showing to catch only the generation you liked. Guest star performances also ended up being evenly split. Remember how I mentioned highlighting other talents in this two-day affair? Oozora Subaru, Ayunda Risu, Tokoyami Towa and Kureiji Ollie from the Japanese and Indonesian branches also showed up and appeared on multiple songs. It felt like such a big deal.

That kind of division is huge. For earlier concerts, we only saw single-day performances. It’s a sign of just how large hololive English grew as a branch. Granted, the second concert also featured two days of performances and four guest stars. But the fact that Cover is continuing with that format for the third year highlights that this is strong enough to maintain that sort of initiative. Especially since this year’s concerts were both longer. We saw 20 songs each day for a total of 40, while last year there were 17 each day for 34 total.

Because it is such a big concert (and investment), before I keep going with my thoughts on this year’s show, I’m going to lay out the setlists here. That way if you are considering also watching it via on-demand, you have an idea of which day to watch.

The thing that struck me most about the hololive English 3rd Concert is how All for One seemed to be about both equally highlighting all Vtubers in the agency while giving newer members in Justice a chance to stand out more. There are a lot of established singers with Cover right now. Like folks such as Calliope Mori, Kiara Takanashi, IRyS, and Hakos Baelz are such strong talents with amazing voices that we expect to see them carry their own lives and concerts now. The same can be said for more recent members like Nerissa Ravencroft, Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, and the Abyssgard twins. Anyone who is a big enough fan to purchase an in-person or digital ticket is well aware of what they are capable of. These individuals do get highlighted, with Kiara and Calliope both doing fun medleys on each day.

But for this show, it feels like older members such as Ninomae Ina’nis, Ouro Kronii, and others I’ve mentioned are being honored while newer ones are getting a bit of the spotlight. I’d even say it feels strategic. For example, on the first day two of the first songs are the Advent and Justice group performances, which feels like a means of introducing the audience to them. Some of the biggest duets with the Japanese and Indonesian branch members also include these newcomers, such as Bijou, Fuwawa, and Mococo joining Subaru for “Hot Duck,” Gigi being part of the “Countach” performance with Baelz and Ollie, and both Shiori and Raora getting to sing “Neko Kaburi-na” with Subaru and Ina’nis. Nerissa and Elizabeth both got solos during the day one performances, with “In My Feelings” and “Stellar Stellar,” and both Cecilia and Raora getting to sing their original songs.

It may sound silly, but the hololive English 3rd Concert execution also sort of made me hope some of the Vtubers paired up for songs become official units at Cover. I’ve been a big fan of how Calliope, IRyS, Nerissa, and Elizabeth all sound together ever since “Start Again” was released for ENigmatic Recollection Chapter 1, and the performance here is a stark reminder of just how well their voices blend. They’d make a fantastic group together. Likewise, “Monster” from Chapter 2 of ENigmatic Recollection sounded fantastic, and the Ina’nis, Kronii, Shiori, and Gigi live performance left me wanting more from that quartet. Towa with IRyS and Kronii also sounded incredible as a trio, as did Ina’nis, Cecilia, Fuwawa, and Mococo.

I guess it means that the “All for One” subtitle for hololive English 3rd Concert felt rather apt, as this felt like a great blend of voices and as though the Vtubers were supporting and uplifting each other. There are a lot of fantastic group performances spread across both days. At the same time, it also felt like an opportunity to honor more established members while giving new singers a moment to introduce themselves or maybe get new fans by showing off their original tracks or featuring them in more songs with folks we already know quite well and love. It ended up being yet another collection of successful and stirring performances.

The hololive English 3rd Concert: All for One streaming tickets for on-demand viewing of the Vtubers' performances are available on E+ and Spwn and can be purchased and viewed until September 24, 2025.
