Hit Freeform Series Scores Season 2 Renewal for Hulu Return

Freeform’s hit design competition series is returning for Season 2 on Hulu. The show will once again be hosted and executive-produced by Good Morning America co-anchor Lara Spencer. The contest pits two interior design teams against each other to transform identical rooms.

That Thrifting Show confirmed to return on Freeform and Hulu

Freeform’s That Thrifting Show will return for Season 2, with GMA’s Lara Spencer returning for the next installment. The network made the announcement with a short video on X (formerly Twitter). The post’s caption read, “What a treasure to find this morning on @GMA… It’s official #ThatThriftingShow with Lara Spencer will be returning for season 2 on Freeform and Hulu.”

The announcement video begins with Spencer, on the GMA set, saying that she goes “thrifting” herself during commercial breaks. The camera then follows her backstage, as she leads it to a small box in the props area. She then opens the box, revealing a small card that reads, “That Thrifting Show with Lara Spencer Season 2.”

The six-time Emmy-winning anchor excitedly announces, “It’s official! Season 2 coming your way! So excited. Hope you’ll join us and enjoy the thrill of the hunt.”

That Thrifting Show is a design competition. It centers on two interior design teams, each given an identical room. The teams have two days and a $ 2,000 budget to completely transform the room. All of the items must be thrifted or recycled, turning second-hand items into beautiful interiors. Their work will be judged by Dani Klaric, Preston Konrad, and Robert Hartwell. The winning team will get to take home all the thrifted items from the contest.

That Thrifting Show Season 1 premiered March 19, 2026, on Freeform, with episodes streaming on Hulu the following day. Details about the release timeline for Season 2 are still under wraps.

All 12 episodes of Season 1 are available to stream on Hulu.
