Highly Anticipated PS4, PS5 Open-World Game Has an Easy Platinum

Recently, Electronic Arts and Full Circle announced their highly anticipated game, Skate (stylized skate.), will finally be playable for everyone on September 16 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For PlayStation players, they’ll be able to garner a Platinum trophy, and it actually seems pretty easy to unlock.

Skate’s PS4 and PS5 trophy list has been revealed

As seen on PSN Profiles, the trophy list for Skate doesn’t seem to difficult, albeit time-consuming. Most of the trophies are connected to completing challenges, missions, and goals. All of that funnels in with leveling up the three beginning Neighborhoods to level 10. Then there are some trophies pertaining to using some of the more unique features of the game, like the Quick Drop menu or the Replay Editor.

There are two goals specifically that may be a bit of a hassle, but mostly because it will take a while. The trophy Fully Localized, which tasks players with reaching 11,000 Rip score. From personal experience, earning Rip score takes a bit; within roughly 4 hours, I’ve earned around 3,000. So, it may take some time to get to an 11,000 Rip score.

The other that may be challenging is Simply the Best, which tasks players with winning four Throwdowns, a multiplayer mode where players try to get the high score at a certain spot. Since this a skill-based challenge, it may be difficult for players who don’t know the ins and outs of Skate.

(Silver) Fully Localized – Reached 11000 total Rip score. (Gold) Quick Drop It Like It’s Hot – Placed 50 Quick Drop objects. (Bronze) Without the Footy, It’s Fiction – Used the Replay Editor to create and export 10 videos. (Bronze) Every Trick You Skate – Spectated 50 other skaters. (Bronze) On A Heater – Kept a 4x multiplier going for a combined total of 1 hour. (Gold) Spot Hunter – Discovered 15 unique blocks in Downtown San Van.
