Harvey Weinstein Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison in New York Sexual Assault Case

Getty Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in New York. The 74-year-old former movie producer received his sentence on Wednesday (September 23), more than a year after he was convicted of a first-degree criminal sexual act involving former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley. Prosecutors had sought a 20-year sentence, while Harvey faced a maximum of 25 years behind bars. He has already served approximately six years stemming from the case.
