2026 has been a roller-coaster of a year for Guy Ritchie, and his hit Netflix series is finally scoring big at the top of streaming charts. Ritchie’s first project of the year took him to Prime Video to expand the Sherlock Holmes universe with the Young Sherlock prequel series, which was dropped as a binge back in March. After more than a month of deliberation, Prime Video finally decided to renew the series for Season 2 after watching it tear up streaming competition. Ritchie then returned to the big screen for the first time since 2024 with the release of his new action thriller, In The Grey, starring Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal. After bombing at the box office, the film is now available to watch on VOD platforms like Prime Video for only a few dollars.
